Personalized Dental Care Rooted In Trust And Community
A Dentist Who Gets to Know You—not Just Your Teeth
At Allen Creek Dental, we believe excellent dental care starts with a relationship.
You should understand what we see, why we are recommending treatment, what your options are, and what happens if you choose to wait. We take the time to answer questions and explain things in a way that makes sense, because your dental care should be something you understand and feel comfortable participating in—not something that simply happens to you.
Dr. Michelle Johnson has been practicing dentistry in Oregon since 1999. After moving to Grants Pass in 2002, she opened Allen Creek Dental in 2003. More than 25 years later, she continues to care for patients and families throughout Southern Oregon.
Over the years, Dr. Johnson has developed extensive experience treating everything from routine preventive needs to complicated restorative problems. She has also continued her education throughout her career, including extensive continuing education through Spear Education and staying current with advances in digital dentistry, Invisalign, restorative dentistry, and patient comfort.
But experience is only part of good dentistry.
We want to know you, understand what is important to you, and develop a plan that makes sense for your health, your goals, and your life.
Comprehensive Dental Care for Every Stage of Life
Your dental needs change throughout your life. Sometimes you simply need regular preventive care. Other times, you may need to replace an old filling, restore a broken tooth, straighten your teeth with Invisalign, replace a missing tooth, or address a more complicated dental problem.
At Allen Creek Dental, we provide comprehensive dental care so you can have a consistent team who knows your history and understands the bigger picture.
Our services include:
- Preventive and general dentistry
- Restorative dentistry
- Cosmetic dentistry
- Invisalign®
- CEREC same-day crowns
- Dental implant restoration
- Root canal treatment
- Treatment for dental anxiety
- Minimal sedation for appropriate patients
- Digital dentistry and advanced imaging
Rather than treating each problem in isolation, we look at how your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health work together.
Modern Dental Technology—Used for a Reason
We have invested in advanced dental technology because it can help us diagnose problems more accurately, plan treatment more precisely, and make certain procedures more convenient for our patients.
Our office uses technology including:
- CEREC for designing and creating same-day crowns
- PrimeScan digital impressions
- iTero digital scanning
- In-office 3D CBCT imaging
- Digital X-rays
- Intraoral cameras
But technology is a tool—not the reason you come to the dentist.
The goal is to combine good technology with good clinical judgment and experience. Dr. Johnson uses the information these systems provide to better understand what is happening in your mouth and determine what treatment, if any, is appropriate.
A Dental Office Designed Around Your Comfort
We know that not everyone looks forward to going to the dentist.
Some patients are completely comfortable in the dental chair. Others have years of dental anxiety, a difficult dental experience in their past, or simply don’t like the feeling of being at the dentist. We understand that both are real experiences.
That’s why we have tried to create an environment that feels different from a typical dental office.
Our treatment rooms overlook Allen Creek, and TVs provide a welcome distraction during appointments. For patients who find dogs comforting, Peyton, our facility dog, is often happy to provide some emotional support.
We also use a medical-grade Surgically Clean Air filtration system in our office.
Comfort matters. A clean, welcoming environment matters. And how you feel while you are receiving care matters.
For appropriate patients who experience significant dental anxiety, Dr. Johnson currently offers minimal sedation as another option for making dental care more comfortable.
Dentistry Built on Long-Term Relationships
One of the things Dr. Johnson values most about practicing in Grants Pass is the opportunity to care for people over many years.
She has watched children grow into adults, cared for multiple generations of families, and helped patients through everything from their first dental visit to complex restorative treatment.
That continuity matters.
When you return to the same dental team, we know your history. We know what treatment you’ve had, what has worked well for you, and what concerns are important to you. It allows us to look beyond a single tooth or a single appointment and focus on your long-term oral health.
